Juraj Barus

Managing Partner

Juraj Barus leads origination and fundraising at BPG Trade Consulting. He works with family offices, private equity, sovereign and institutional investors to match capital with validated opportunities in energy transition, digital infrastructure, natural resources and selected real estate across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His approach is personal and on the ground: he travels to site, meets the sponsors and structures opportunities until they are investable.

Slovak and based in Bratislava, Juraj holds a master's degree in economics. He spent sixteen years at IBM, rising to Executive Director for Romania, where he led an operation of 4,500 people and served on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce. As Global Director at Clarios, a Brookfield portfolio company, he led global operations for 57 local entities and drove spin-offs, integrations and large-scale transformations.

As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Green Services Group in Ljubljana, which originated, developed, built and operated renewable energy assets for a Swiss family office. He founded BPG to help international investors access opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe and has since extended its reach to the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He combines corporate discipline, private equity thinking and entrepreneurial speed to build partnerships based on trust.

Partner

Thomas Edde focuses on international origination and strategic partnerships at BPG Trade Consulting, developing investment and commercial opportunities across mining, commodities and related industrial sectors. He works with asset owners, commercial partners and prospective investors to clarify commercial objectives, align interests and coordinate opportunity development.

French-Lebanese and based in Bratislava, Thomas developed international business relationships alongside his corporate career. Longstanding relationships provided a foundation for originating opportunities in the UAE and Nigeria, where he continues to develop commercial partnerships.

His corporate background includes IBM and major transformation programmes involving Data & AI, blockchain, robotic process automation and ERP. His experience in project and change management centres on aligning business and technical stakeholders, coordinating complex delivery and supporting organisational change. At BPG, he applies this discipline to defining commercial propositions, identifying information needs and maintaining progress across multiple parties, with an emphasis on clear responsibilities and long-term relationships.

Senior Advisor

Sten André Rigedahl is a strategic advisor and dealmaker who connects sophisticated investors with carefully selected off-market opportunities. At BPG Trade Consulting he supports fundraising and investor access, drawing on a long-standing global network of partners, investors and institutions.

Sten has advised companies, funds, venture capital and private equity investors, governments, institutions and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on capital raising, growth, mergers and acquisitions and strategic decisions. He works with investors and business owners on funding, growth and exit strategies that unlock value while preserving the legacy of the business, and facilitates discreet, structured transactions across commodities and real estate.

Purpose beyond profit guides his work. He partners with impact-driven founders and investors in sustainable energy, water treatment and affordable housing, and has been involved in ventures such as Terra Azul Tech, which combines water treatment with renewable energy, and ElectriGo, a battery-swap power solution. His principle is simple: a win for people, business and the planet.

Michal Rozhold brings the discipline of a senior finance and operations executive to BPG Trade Consulting. As Advisor, he works where numbers meet reality: financial and technical due diligence, financial modelling and the structure behind each capital raise, so that every opportunity has been questioned from every angle before it reaches an investor.

Over more than fifteen years in corporate roles spanning finance, IT, operations and people leadership, Michal has built and led teams, managed multi-million budgets and led forecasting for the business. He understands how organisations actually run, which makes him quick to see where a business plan is solid and where it only looks solid on paper.

Alongside his corporate career he has supported fundraising and advisory mandates, translating complex operational and financial detail into a clear, defensible investment case. At BPG he is the steady second look: rigorous with the numbers, practical about execution and protective of the interests of investors and project owners alike.
